Animation GIF images are one of the most popular ways to highlight the specific object in any images or pictures.
GIF is a kind of image format with the help of GIF format you can animate or movie your text, sticker, character, or any other object in any images.
What is GIF?
GIF is the abbreviation of Graphics Interchange Format.GIF is an image file formate commonly used for images on the web. GIF is nothing but the format of an image like JPG, PNG, etc. Every Image format has a different property like JPG is the most popular format of the one. Almost every picture that you click from your smartphone is in JPG Format. Another format is PNG, PNG also has its property as if you want to create such an image in which you don't want any color background then you can go with PNG Format. A PNG Format Images give you a transparent background image.
GIFs are a series of images or soundless videos that will play in a loop continuously.
For Example:
There is a lot of application available for making animated GIF images but if you want to create such animated GIF image in Photoshop then follow the below steps.
How to make an animated GIF in Photoshop?
Step 1
Open Photoshop and create some images or text on which you want to apply animation.
e.g. you can see in the below image in which I have already create a simple image where I want to apply some animation.
Step 2
Now go to the 'Windows' option and then select 'Timeline' option after that you will see the tab on the bottom, click on the 'Create video timeline' option and change its layer type into frame type and here you have to create some frame for animation if you create less frame then your animation will be sharp or if you create more frame with some changes in each frame then the animation will be smooth you can see in the below GIF image.
In each frame, you have to select that layer in which you want to display and the rest layer must be hidden.
If you want that your image animate again and again then you have to choose the 'Forever' option (see in the below image) and you can set your frame transition time according to your need.
Step 3
Now you can save your GIF image Go to the 'File' option then select the 'Export' option and then select the 'Sava for Web (Legacy)...' option. Now here you have to select GIF option and in the 'Preset' option choose 'GIF 128 Dithered' and then click on the 'Save' button to save your animated GIF file that's it.
