Recently Instagram launched a QR code feature for saving our time to follow someone's Instagram account. This feature is similar to the Nametag feature where you can create a Nametag for your Instagram profile and you can share it with your friends or other. Nametag option is only available on the web version of Instagram and currently, the QR code feature does not available here this feature is only available on its app. Nametag has very less feature but the Instagram QR code feature has more options to create QR code for your Instagram account.

These three options are just for the background of a QR code so that your QR code looks a bit stylish, fancy, and attractive.
The second QR code option is the "Emoji" which means you can set any emoji instead of color background for your QR code. To switch on the Emoji option you have to tap on the color option on the top of your phone screen(see image).
The third option is the "Selfie" which means you can set your selfie just like emoji background. To set the selfie image you have to click your selfie from your smartphone (see in the image).

How to create QR code for your Instagram account?
Step 1
First of all, you must have the latest version of the Instagram application. If you don't have its latest version then you can download its latest version form your app store like for android devices download from Google Play store and for iOS devices download from the Apple app store.Step 2
Now open the Instagram app then go to the profile option and then click on the 3 lines on the top right corner and here you will see the QR code option.

Now you here will see the "Color" option of QR code that means the background of the QR code is colored. You can change its color after tapping on the phone screen and you will see the different gradient color set as the background of your QR code.The second QR code option is the "Emoji" which means you can set any emoji instead of color background for your QR code.
