How to Check if Google Rewrite Post Title on the Search Engine Result Page?

In August 2021, Google has started changing the post title on the search engine result page when you search for any keyword on Google. In the Google Search console blog post "An update to how we generate web page titles", which was published on August 24, 2021. Here you will get to know detailed information about how and why they made changes to the post title in the search console exactly.

Generally, many people are unable to make the title of their post clickable, or if they are new to blogging then they don't know what to keep the right title for their post or those people who have very google knowledge about blogging. They start doing keyword stuffing to rank their post on the top of the google search engine result and manipulate the google search result for some focused keywords.

So to fix all these problems, Google is changing the title of the post in its search engine result. When the title of any post is changing in the search engine result, then that title (h1 title) is making it by taking only the text inside your same post using some algorithm or removing your site name from the post title. This has happened in many of my posts, you can see the example of it in the below image.

Now I am going to tell you how you can check your own website in such a way that the title of your post has changed in SERPs. For this, you have to use some JavaScript code and with the help of that code you can see the title of your post, if that title has changed in the search engine, then it will show the title with red color below otherwise it's showing green which means there is no change in the post title. (See above image)

How to Check Changed Post Title in Google Search Engine Results?

If the title will be the same as the previous then it will be shown in green otherwise, it will show in red color.

Advantages of these Changes

  • Maybe you will get more traffic because of creating the right title for your post by google algorithm.
  • There is a limit to show the title of a post in the google search result, it is almost 70 characters. If your post title is more than 70 characters then your title has been truncated in the google search engine result.
  • But now you will get an advantage that the google algorithm will automatically generate a new title for that post which will be user-friendly and can be beneficial for you too.

Disadvantages of these changes

  • For those who do keyword stuffing in their post title so that their post ranks quickly in Google search engine, then these changes can have an impact on both the ranking and organic traffic of their post.
